Taking Control - staying in control by letting go of it...?
One of the key aspects of stress with regards to stress resilience is whether we feel that we are in control or not. The less we feel that we are in control of our lives, the more stressful our lives become. Aah the fear! Confidence and control are absolutely key. And so is taking responsibility, and then yes, taking the risk of actually letting go of control. Trust, take the breaks off and surprise yourself with your new freedom!

Positive influence
Stress can help compel us to action; it can result in a new awareness and an exciting new perspective, by learning how to manage it and how to use it to help us.
What we think and what we feel and what actually manifests is ALWAYS a match. No exception. You use energy to create your thoughts and feelings and these too are also energy and fall under the law of attraction. The conscious mind is the stress inducer through our own perception and the subconscious mind is the stress executor.

New Perception
Your body's physical reaction to anything it experiences as stress is always the same. The same physiological systems are involved, and the same hormones are released. You do, however, have a chance to influence your physical reaction to stress based on your brain's interpretive ability to identify something as stressful or not, and your mental or emotional response to potentially stressful situations. It may help to think of the distinction as good response / bad response instead of good stress / bad stress. With hand Reflexology / Zonterapi, you can use this as tool to help diminish, regulate the body’s responses to the stress you are feeling and post stress disorders and conditions.

Breathing
Regardless of the philosophy, scientific studies have shown that correct breathing can help stress and stress-related conditions by soothing the autonomic nervous system. For example, shallow over-breathing, or hyperventilation, can prolong feelings of anxiety by bringing on physical symptoms of stress. When a person is relaxed, their breathing is nasal, slow, even and gentle. Deliberately mimicking a relaxed breathing pattern can help the autonomic nervous system, which governs involuntary bodily functions.

Meditation

What is it? Meditation has shown to be an effective stress-buster. It helps quieten the mental chatter of everyday life. Meditation when generally described is a state of concentrated attention on some object of thought or awareness. It usually involves turning the attention inward to a single point of reference. Meditation can be quite unique and personal. We all at some point, and sometimes without our knowing, go naturally into a meditative state, enriching our resources and bringing peace of mind. Meditate daily!  Take your daily inner peace pill, with no side effects!
